NEA Humane Society is a 501(c) non-profit animal shelter located about 5 miles west of Jonesboro, Arkansas, dedicated to placing surrendered and abandoned animals into loving homes across Northeast Arkansas. The shelter cares for cats, dogs, and new litters, and relies on foster homes to supplement its limited facility space. It offers adoption, fostering, volunteering, and donation opportunities, including one-time gifts, annual memberships, and legacy or memorial contributions, and it also runs an equine program and a medical clinic. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
