Northeast Arkansas Humane Society in Jonesboro, AR
Northeast Arkansas Humane Society is a 501(c) nonprofit animal shelter located in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, about 5 miles west of the city. It works to place surrendered and abandoned dogs, cats, and horses into loving homes across northeast Arkansas, relying on adoption, fostering, volunteering, and donations to support its mission, and it also operates a medical clinic for the animals in its care. Because shelter space is limited, the organization depends heavily on foster homes for abandoned or lost animals and new litters. It is one of three animal shelters or rescues serving Craighead County.
