Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an adoption application. We conduct home checks, as well as reference and veterinary checks. We also have discussions with the prospective adopter to assess their experience with pets. Once approved to adopt, a signed adoption contract is required. Adoption fees are as follows: $400 for puppies under one year, $250 for adults aged one to eight years, and $200 for seniors over nine years.

Lancaster Four Dog Rescue in Portland, OR

I established Lancaster Four Dog Rescue in response to a plea for help with four emaciated pit bull puppies. This situation initiated an ongoing animal abuse case. My lifelong passion for helping animals began in my childhood when I rescued neighbor dogs that were left outside without food or water. I started my journey by fostering for other rescue organizations and volunteering my time. The rescue of the four puppies inspired me to create my own organization.
