Adoption Process

Potential adopters are required to fill out a comprehensive adoption application. Following this, we will contact them to discuss their answers and ask any additional questions. Once the application is approved, a contract will be sent for signing. After the contract is signed, medical records will be released, and the animal will be transferred to the new owner.

The Sunshine Fund Cat Rescue in Houston, TX

The Sunshine Fund Cat Rescue was established in memory of a beloved foster cat named Sunshine. The funds raised are dedicated to fostering, vaccinating, spaying or neutering, microchipping, and finding permanent homes for homeless cats and kittens in the Houston area. Our organization also addresses many medical cases that other rescues may not accept. Additionally, we provide assistance to cat owners who are unable to afford necessary care for their pets. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of both animals and people by facilitating lasting connections between cats and their new families.
