The adoption process includes submitting an application, participating in an interview with potential new parents, providing photos of the living setup, signing an adoption contract, and paying an adoption fee. Additionally, we offer free and comprehensive online mentoring, along with a list of approved and safe vendors for glider toys, cage sets, treats, and more.

Sugar Glider Guardians is a nonprofit organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) that is committed to assisting sugar gliders in need and educating their owners about best practices in glider care. The organization was established in response to the significant number of sugar gliders suffering from neglect, danger, and inadequate care. Our efforts at Sugar Glider Guardians focus on finding suitable homes for sugar gliders in need and raising funds to support veterinary care. We also prioritize neutering, mentoring, arranging transportation, providing valuable resources, and offering general education about sugar gliders. Through donations, educational initiatives, and collaborations, we assist hundreds of sugar gliders and their owners each year.
