About this shelter

Doggedly Dog Rescue Society in Houston, TX

We are a small yet experienced rescue organization dedicated to helping dogs from overpopulated areas in Texas. We manage our own transport and facilitate adoptions in the Pacific Northwest. Our passion for dogs drives us to connect families with the right canine companions. We prioritize humane, science-based training, along with decompression and gradual integration for the dogs in our care. Additionally, we provide ongoing support for the lifetime of the dogs we rescue.

Adoption process

The adoption process includes several steps: completing an online application, participating in a phone interview, undergoing a home check, and having a meet and greet with the dog. There are also contracts to sign and fees that vary depending on the specific dog, transport costs, and location. Following these steps, there will be an adoption trial and adoption counseling, culminating in the finalization of the adoption.
