Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, an initial application must be completed on our website. Our adoption coordinators will review all applications and reach out to potential adopters via email or phone to ask further questions. We request pictures of the home and yard, and we conduct checks on veterinary and landlord references. If these aspects are satisfactory, we will connect the potential adopter with the current foster caregiver to discuss the dog's personality and specific needs. If there is mutual agreement among the coordinator, adopter, and foster that it is a suitable match, we will arrange transportation for the dog. An adoption agreement must be completed prior to the dog's pick-up. There is a $425 adoption fee, which helps cover the costs of veterinary care and transportation from Texas to homes, typically located in Washington or New Jersey. Please note that we do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis; instead, we select applicants based on who we believe will be the best fit for the dog.

Service Areas

We have three adoption locations: the Dallas-Fort Worth region in Texas, the Seattle area in Washington, and Mendham, New Jersey. Our dogs are rescued from shelters in Texas or are strays that have not been claimed.
