Adopting from Second Chance Pets
Adoption process
Potential adopters are required to complete an application, and volunteers from SCP are available to assist in identifying cats and dogs that would be a good match for their homes. Adoption counselors at SCP review these applications, conduct in-person interviews, and discuss the responsibilities of pet care with potential adopters. SCP also verifies veterinary references and may choose to conduct a home visit as part of the process. To ensure the best interests of the pet are prioritized, SCP reserves the right to deny any adoption request. The adoption fees are $110 for cats, $175 for two cats, $190 for dogs, and $245 for puppies.
