Adoption Process

Individuals interested in adopting one of our cats or kittens can reach out to us at [email protected] to request an application. Once we receive the application, we will review it and check the applicant's personal and veterinary references. If the application is approved, we will proceed with the adoption contract and collect the associated fees. For young kittens that have not yet been spayed or neutered, an additional spay/neuter contract will be required along with a deposit. This deposit will be refunded once we receive proof of sterilization. The adoption fees vary based on the age, breed, and alteration status of the animal.

Service Areas

We serve Southeast Michigan and Northern Ohio. Our network of foster homes is located in Jackson, Rives Junction, Williamston, Lansing, Taylor, and Temperance in Michigan, as well as in Toledo, Ohio.

Faerie Tales Cat Rescue in Taylor, MI

We are a dedicated team of animal enthusiasts focused on rescuing neglected, abused, lost, and homeless cats. Our mission is to provide as many cats as possible with the opportunity to find loving homes. We are deeply concerned about the growing issue of cat overpopulation and actively promote spaying and neutering to address this challenge. As an all-breed rescue organization, we operate as a no-kill group, with all of our foster animals placed in private homes rather than a shelter. Established in June 2005, our organization may be young, but our volunteers bring years of rescue experience, extensive networks, and comprehensive knowledge in caring for our feline friends. Before adoption, all of our rescued cats receive full veterinary care, including testing for FIV and FeLV, as well as fecal checks. Additionally, all cats will be spayed or neutered, or a prepaid spay/neuter certificate will be provided for those kittens who are not yet eligible for alteration.
