P.A.W.S. (Precious Animal Welfare Society) of Michigan is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization comprised entirely of volunteers. Our mission is to promote the humane, compassionate, and responsible treatment of all animals. We focus on protecting and caring for homeless animals by placing them in loving foster homes until suitable permanent placements can be arranged. Additionally, we engage in charitable activities to support this mission.

Adoption process

Potential adopters must complete an application. Once the application is approved, there is an adoption fee of $80 for kittens and $60 for adult animals, though fees may vary. All animals are spayed or neutered and have received a health check and vaccinations, depending on their age.

Service area: The areas we serve include Canton, Woodhaven, Westland, Taylor, Allen Park, Dearborn, Riverview, Wyandotte, Southgate, and Trenton.
