The Taylor Animal Shelter is located in Taylor, Michigan, roughly 15 miles northeast of Detroit, at 25555 Northline Road, between the Department of Public Works building and the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:00–11:30 a.m. and 12:30–3:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The shelter offers pet adoptions, lost-and-found animal intake, licensing, and animal rescue services within the city, and accepts stray or injured domestic animals from Taylor residents free of charge, though it does not accept wildlife. As a member of the BISSELL Partners for Pets program, it receives donations, grants, and giveaways from the BISSELL Pet Foundation, and it also offers low-cost wellness and vaccine clinics for the community.
