Adoption Process
The adoption process requires the submission of an adoption application. If the application is approved, an adoption contract will need to be signed. The fee for adopting a horse is $250.00.

Sunshine Acres accepts owner-surrendered horses that are no longer wanted. Most of these horses undergo professional training or retraining before being placed for adoption. In some cases, horses may be adopted prior to completing their professional training.
