Adoption Process

The adoption fees for cats vary based on their age. Cats over one year old have a fee ranging from $40 to $50. Kittens are available for $120, while kittens older than six months are priced at $75. For cats with special needs, the adoption fee is waived. New adopters must sign a contract agreeing to keep the pet indoors, refrain from declawing, and return the cat to WNY Pet Rescue Inc. if the adoption does not work out.

We offer veterinary care for homeless cats in Western New York and also assist some dogs. Our organization promotes adoption and has successfully placed numerous cats in loving homes. Comprised of veterinary professionals, we established this group in response to the challenges local rescues face in affording basic veterinary care. We recently launched this initiative and have received our incorporation paperwork from the State of New York.
