Buffalo CARES was founded by seven individuals with extensive experience working together in various animal rescues. Our mission is to ensure that our organization operates effectively and ethically. We recognized a significant need for a rescue dedicated to helping and rehabilitating local dogs in the Buffalo, NY area. Most of the animals we assist are from the local community.
