Mighty Mutts in Brooklyn, NY
Mighty Mutts is a no-kill, nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to rescuing stray dogs and cats from the streets of New York City. Upon rescue, all animals are promptly spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Cats undergo blood tests for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FiV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) twice over a six-month quarantine period before being introduced to other animals.

Adoption process
The adoption process includes several steps: first, you will need to complete a prescreening application. Next, we will conduct a background check and gather references. Following this, an in-home interview will be scheduled. There is a fee of $90 for the adoption.
