Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an adoption application. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. After the initial review, we will check references and conduct a home visit. If the home visit goes well and we have a dog that the prospective adopter is interested in, we will arrange a meeting between the adopter and the dog. Following this meeting, there is a 24-hour waiting period during which all parties can consider whether to proceed with the adoption. An adoption fee and a signed contract are required to finalize the process.
