Off the Rocks Rescue is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization focused on animal welfare, specifically dedicated to assisting homeless cats through education, advocacy, and direct rescue efforts. With locations in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, and Wellesley, Massachusetts, we rescue adoptable cats from areas with high populations and help them find loving homes in New England. Our organization was founded in the aftermath of the hurricanes in 2017, and we provide continuous care by ensuring that our cats are healthy, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered at our rescue facility in St. Thomas before they travel to our shelter in Massachusetts for adoption.

Adoption process

The initial step in the adoption process is to submit an adoption application. We will review your references and conduct an interview to determine if you are a suitable match for any of our adoptable cats. Upon successful adoption, we require you to sign a contract.
