German Shepherd Rescue of NE in Wayland, MA
German Shepherd Rescue of New England is a rescue organization based in Wayland, Massachusetts, located in Middlesex County alongside 33 other animal shelters and rescues in the county, about 15 miles east of Cambridge. It is an all-volunteer, privately funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehoming German Shepherd Dogs, celebrating 30 years of service. Dogs come into the organization's care through a foster home network before being placed into forever homes, and the rescue also runs a Buddy Program allowing supporters to sponsor a foster dog they can't personally adopt or foster themselves. GSRNE relies on memberships, donations, and fundraisers to cover veterinary costs, boarding, transportation, and other expenses involved in its rescue work.
