Save-A-Bull Rescue in Minneapolis, MN

We envision a world where dogs that have been unjustly maligned can live in homes with caring, knowledgeable, and responsible owners, allowing their dignity to be restored and maintained. The reputations of these breeds have suffered due to irresponsible ownership and media portrayal, and our mission is to address this by educating the public on the proper ways to raise, care for, and love these remarkable dogs. We also encourage dog owners to engage their pets in activities such as obedience training, agility, tracking, weight-pulling, and therapy work. Save-A-Bull Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming American Pit Bull Terriers and other bull breeds. We are among a select group of dog rescues authorized by Minneapolis Animal Control to rehome Pit Bulls. All dogs that come into our care undergo comprehensive temperament testing and health screening. They are neutered, vaccinated, tested for heartworm, and microchipped before adoption.

Adopting from Save-A-Bull Rescue

Adoption process

The adoption process includes an application, a meet and greet, a home visit, and final adoption. The adoption fee is $300, which includes the animal being spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We require adopters to be at least 18 years old, and homeowners insurance must cover dogs.
