The adoption process requires a fee of $200.00. Additionally, prospective adopters must complete contracts, provide a veterinary reference, and undergo a home visit.

Hail Mary Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs at risk of euthanasia in the parish shelter. Founded by Mary Morvant, a lifelong resident of Lafourche Parish, the organization aims to promote a more humane and compassionate approach to addressing the issue of homeless dogs. Mary brings over 40 years of experience as a trainer, groomer, and owner of a boarding kennel to her work with the rescue.
