Adoption Process

An online adoption application is required. If approved, adopters must complete an adoption agreement and a spay/neuter contract for puppies and kittens. Adoption fees vary, with cats typically costing $85 and dogs ranging from $150 to $250, depending on factors such as age, health, and behavior. Prospective dog adopters must demonstrate a responsible history of dog ownership and provide an excellent veterinary reference, while cat adopters must meet similar standards.

Ninna's Road to Rescue in Benton, LA

Ninna Lopez has been involved in animal rescue since 2007, having managed a large no-kill shelter before founding Ninna's Road to Rescue in 2012. Since then, the organization has successfully rescued and rehomed thousands of animals. The facility is climate-controlled, providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. At night, they stay indoors in specially designed rooms for dogs, while during the day, they enjoy access to a spacious, fenced outdoor area. This setting offers a bit of paradise for the dogs until they find their forever homes.
