Port City Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats from high-kill shelters and addressing the needs of homeless cats found on the streets. Our mission is to provide these cats with essential veterinary care and vaccinations before placing them in loving, permanent homes. We also ensure that all cats are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, except for those that are too young, for which we offer a voucher to the adopters.

Adoption process
Our adoption process begins with potential adopters completing an adoption form and agreeing to our adoption policies. If the adopter has previous experience with pets, we will request a veterinary reference. A discussion with our team is also necessary prior to finalizing the adoption. There is a fee of $60 associated with the adoption, and we conduct follow-up check-ins with adopters after the cat has settled into their new home.
