Adoption Process
To begin the adoption process, potential adopters are required to fill out our adoption application available at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply. This application will be followed by a screening that includes checking personal references, a veterinary reference, a rescue reference, a phone interview, and a home check. The adoption fee for an adult dog is $350, and adopters must also sign our Adoption Contract.

Husky Education And Rescue Team, Inc. in Severn, MD
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to animal rescue. Our mission is to save, rehabilitate, and rehome Siberian Huskies and other dog breeds that have been abandoned or are at risk of euthanasia in shelters. We offer medical and behavioral services to these dogs and work to match them with suitable families for adoption. Our efforts rely largely on volunteers. Many of the dogs we assist come from Southern States where the rate of euthanasia in shelters is higher. We maintain a network of foster homes along the East Coast, and our adoption events are primarily held in Maryland and New Jersey.
