Italian Greyhound Club of America Rescue - MD, DC, VA, WV in Kitsap County, MD
IGCA Rescue is a club-supported re-homing service dedicated to Italian Greyhounds that have been abandoned in animal shelters, rescued from abusive environments, or surrendered due to situations such as the death or divorce of their previous owner. In some cases, dogs are given to the Rescue because their owners can no longer care for them, and the dogs cannot be returned to their original source. Volunteers with IGCA Rescue foster these dogs in their homes, where they assess their health and temperament. Each dog receives a veterinary examination, and necessary vaccinations are updated. Additionally, the dogs are neutered or spayed, and their dental health is addressed. Every Italian Greyhound is carefully evaluated to ensure an appropriate match with a new owner and home environment.
