Adoption Process

To initiate the adoption process, please express your interest by submitting an application. Next, you will participate in a phone interview. Following that, a meet and greet will be arranged. Once you have decided to proceed, you will need to sign the adoption application and pay the adoption fee. Our animals are cared for by volunteers in foster homes throughout the Bay Area, allowing them to receive individual attention and enabling us to become familiar with their unique personalities and needs. We strive to match each animal with the right home. However, it is important to note that an animal may not be suitable for every household. For instance, a shy animal that is frightened by noise may not thrive in a busy environment, while a highly social animal may not be a good fit for someone who spends most of their time at work.
