Love & Second Chances was established to foster a stronger connection between the public and the rescue community. Our organization is located in Northern California, specifically in San Ramon, with a small division in Sacramento. Our network of foster homes spans the Bay Area and the Sacramento region. Our team is made up of compassionate individuals dedicated to rescuing voiceless animals in need of a second chance at life. The rewarding experience of saving a life on the brink of death is invaluable. We believe that animal rescue not only helps the animals but also benefits people. Adoption process
Our adoption process begins with the completion of an adoption application, which will be reviewed. Once the application is approved, we will contact you with additional information and arrange for a home check. Following the home check, there will be a meet and greet, and possibly an adoption trial period, depending on the specific program associated with the dog of interest. A contract will be signed to finalize the adoption, and the adoption fee will be collected at the conclusion of the trial period.
