Adoption Process

The adoption process includes submitting an adoption application, followed by a meet-and-greet with the dog. Once approved, an adoption agreement will be provided. There is a fee of $200, and a home check will be conducted as part of the process.

California Pit Bull Rescue (CPR) is dedicated to rescuing at-risk "pit bull" type dogs and promoting social change to eliminate abuse, overbreeding, and misinformation associated with the breed. CPR aims to accomplish these objectives through a statewide fostering network, fundraising initiatives, educational programs, and providing financial and physical support to guardians in need of assistance for their pit bull type dogs.
