The adoption fee is $425. To proceed with the adoption, prospective adopters must complete an adoption application and sign an adoption contract.

Ripley Animal Rescue in Atoka, TN

In 2013, I began my work by photographing high-risk dogs and cats at a rural high-kill shelter and sharing their images on Facebook to raise community awareness. This initiative led to an increase in rescues and private adoptions, raising the live release rate from 45% to 62% over two years. While this may seem like a modest improvement, it was significant given the conditions I witnessed, including finding a live dog placed in the freezer alongside euthanized animals. Consequently, I started to rescue dogs, foster them, and collaborate with rescue partners, as well as adopting pets myself beginning that same year.
