Passion 4 Paws in Shelburne, VT

Our mission is to rescue dogs that are homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused. We collaborate with dedicated volunteers, established veterinarians, and trainers to provide these animals with nurturing care, medical treatment, and rehabilitation. We maintain a safe and loving cage-free environment for as long as necessary until we can find them suitable adoptive homes. Our vision is to reduce the number of dogs euthanized each year and to prevent cruelty and suffering among all animals. Through humane education and the resources we provide, including educational classes, we strive to raise public awareness about the overpopulation of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond. To achieve this vision, we are committed to rescuing dogs from municipal shelters at risk of euthanasia, educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership—including spaying and neutering and microchipping pets—and advocating for animals through active participation with our community representatives.
