Adoption Process

The adoption process at Kitten Associates is designed to ensure that all cats and kittens find suitable, loving homes. Prospective adopters are encouraged to complete an adoption application, which helps us understand their preferences and living situation. Once the application is submitted, our team will review it and may reach out for further information or clarification. After the initial review, we will schedule a meeting for the adopter to meet the cats or kittens they are interested in. This interaction is crucial for both the adopter and the animal to assess compatibility. If both parties seem to be a good match, we will proceed with the adoption process. Adopters are required to sign an adoption agreement, which outlines the responsibilities of pet ownership and our policies regarding the care of the animal. An adoption fee will also be collected, which helps cover the costs of veterinary care and other expenses incurred by the organization. Post-adoption support is available to help ensure a smooth transition for the new pet and their family. We encourage adopters to reach out with any questions or concerns after bringing their new companion home. Our goal is to create lasting relationships between pets and their families.
