Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an adoption application. Adoption fees vary depending on the species. A home check will be conducted whenever possible, and if not, a picture of the enclosure is required. An adoption contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Service Areas

We primarily serve Central Indiana, but we also adopt animals to neighboring states and rescue animals from those areas.

A Critter's Chance in Plainfield, IN

We are a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue of both exotic and domestic pets. Our mission is to advocate for animals, educate the public about responsible pet ownership, ensure humane treatment of animals, and facilitate the adoption of domestic pets into loving homes. We place animals in foster care until they can be matched with permanent homes. Additionally, we strive to provide guidance on the specific care requirements for exotic pets, ensuring they receive appropriate treatment. We also promote the spaying and neutering of rabbits and mini-pigs, which offers significant medical and behavioral advantages and contributes to the reduction of overpopulation in these species.
