Adoption Process
The adoption fees are $135 for dogs and $100 for cats. Potential adopters must complete an application and sign a contract. Adopters are required to return the pet to us if they choose to do so at any time in the future. We do not adopt pets to individuals who do not provide veterinary care for their animals. A veterinary reference check is conducted in every case, and a home visit may be performed if feasible. We do not place animals as guard dogs or barn cats, and we do not adopt out pets that are intended to live exclusively outdoors.
Service Areas
The organization is based in Erath County but rescues animals from shelters in all counties.
