Rose Hope Animal Rescue is a rescue organization based in Meriden, Connecticut, located in New Haven County, roughly 15 miles west of Waterbury, CT, and one of 27 other animal shelters and rescues serving that county. Now celebrating 30 years of operation, the organization saves the lives of over 300 pets each year through its Adoption Center and a separate "Special Needs" feline location dedicated to cats with additional medical needs. Rose Hope invests more than $30,000 annually in basic animal healthcare, including a full set of vaccinations and spay or neuter services for each rescued animal, and relies on fostering, donations, and volunteers to continue its work.
