Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, you can complete an online application at animalrescuefamily.org/adoptionapplication.php or pick up a paper application at Pet Kingdom. Once your application is approved, there is a $70 adoption fee for cats, which includes a microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees for dogs will vary based on factors such as age and breed. Good references and veterinary records are required for all applicants.

We are a small-town animal shelter that recently began operations. Previously, we functioned solely as a rescue until acquiring our building in December 2017. Our mission is to educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering all pets. We aim to raise awareness about the dangers of cat toe amputation and provide information on proper pet care and training.
