Adoption process

We do not charge an adoption fee for our birds, as the adoption donation is not a purchase price but rather a contribution to support our ongoing care for other birds. This donation is non-refundable and should be considered a necessary expense in your budget. The funds raised through these donations are essential for providing care to the vulnerable birds in our sanctuary until they find their forever homes. The adoption donation reflects the annual cost of meeting the basic needs of a bird, which includes bird food (both fresh and pelleted), seeds, treats, whole nuts, toys, and grooming. The adoption donations are as follows: - Small Size Bird: $1,000 (approximately $19.32 per week) - Medium Size Bird: $2,500 (approximately $48.07 per week) - Large Size Bird: $3,000 (approximately $57.96 per week) Please note that there are additional costs associated with adopting a bird that are not covered by the adoption donation. These costs may include a travel carrier, a bird cage, ongoing food and treats, toys, routine veterinary care, and emergency veterinary services.
