Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an application. It is required that all current pets be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Once the application is approved, a meet-and-greet will be scheduled. If the meeting is successful, the adoption can proceed, followed by the signing of a contract. Adoption fees range from $300 to $495.

I have over 20 years of experience as an animal control officer and more than 30 years as a wildlife rehabilitator. My decision to start my own rescue was inspired by a dog I saved while working as an animal control officer, and it has proven to be the best decision I ever made. While I continue to work part-time in animal control, my primary focus and purpose in life is my rescue organization.
