Paw It 4ward Foundation in Cherry Hill, NJ

PI4W is dedicated to supporting local animal rescues by providing financial assistance to help cover the significant medical expenses that arise during their life-saving efforts. In February 2014, we expanded our mission by establishing a rescue specifically for bully breeds at high risk of euthanasia in local shelters. The dogs we rescue are placed in foster homes where they receive socialization, training, and care while awaiting adoption. These foster homes facilitate a smooth transition for adopters. Through our breed ambassadors, we aim to highlight the positive qualities of bully breeds. Our grant process requires rescues to submit an annual application to our foundation. This application must include documentation demonstrating their quality of care standards for all animals in their custody. Adoptions must ensure that all animals are spayed or neutered, undergo veterinary checks, and receive home checks and references. For medical cases, a fund request application must be accompanied by documentation from a veterinary practice that is providing care. It is important to note that medical funding is always directed to the veterinary practice and never to the rescue. What sets PI4W apart is our dedicated team. Each team member is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of animals. We foster an environment of respect, compassion, and love, extending the same values to every team member. Our open forum encourages input and ideas from all, allowing us to leverage our diverse strengths to achieve our objectives. We also prioritize transparency by openly sharing the amounts donated for animal care and providing information on funds raised through our fundraising efforts upon request.
