Adoption Process

The adoption fee is $125, which covers spaying or neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV testing. All animals in our care are spayed or neutered before adoption. A contract is signed at the time of adoption. Our adoption process involves discussions with one or more family members, a veterinary check for any existing pets, and an in-person meeting.

The service areas include Westfield, Union, Chatham, Madison, Scotch Plains, Morristown, and primarily cover North-Central New Jersey.

Since 1999, our small rescue group has been dedicated to animal rescue. Comprised of a core group of volunteers, most of whom hold full-time jobs, we work diligently to rescue animals and find them suitable permanent homes. Our organization has four primary foster homes, along with a few additional volunteers who provide foster care on occasion or in special circumstances. While the majority of our rescues come from outdoor situations, we also take animals from high-kill shelters when space allows. Our volunteers are united by a shared vision of establishing a true "no-kill" society.
