Adoption Process

Our organization does not facilitate same-day adoptions. Instead, we conduct a series of meet-and-greet sessions. Once we receive an adoption questionnaire indicating a potential fit for one of our dogs, we will reach out to the prospective adopter to arrange a meet and greet. During these meetings, adopters can inquire about the dog's personality, quirks, health, training, and other important details. We will discuss topics such as walking, crating, playing, and any obedience training the dog may have. The number of meet-and-greet sessions required will depend on the specific dog and whether there are other dogs in the adopter's household. After all human members of the household have met the dog, we will schedule a dog-to-dog meet and greet to ensure compatibility before finalizing the adoption. All our dogs are adopted out with a rabies certificate, a copy of their medical records, and are spayed or neutered unless there is a specific exception or the dog is too young at the time of adoption. In such cases, we cover the spay/neuter fee, and adopters must arrange for the procedure by a designated date. Each dog is also bathed, has their nails clipped, ears cleaned, and comes with any necessary medications and a week's supply of food. We are committed to supporting adopters for the lifetime of their pets. If for any reason an adopter can no longer care for their dog, we will always take the dog back. Adoption fees vary depending on the individual dog and can range from $75 to $300.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs in need of homes. This includes dogs that may exhibit fearful behaviors, lack basic manners, or have health issues. We provide the necessary training and medical care to rehabilitate these dogs for adoption. Our dogs undergo crate training, leash training, and instruction in basic manners and obedience prior to being placed for adoption. Our mission is to connect adopters with a lifelong companion.
