Adoption Process

The adoption process includes completing an application, signing a contract, and paying a small fee. We require a specific cage size for the adopted animals. Additionally, we encourage adopting multiple animals unless the adopter is seeking a companion for an existing pet in their home.

Service Areas

We serve the entire state of Florida, with a primary focus on Broward County. Additionally, we travel throughout the state once a month to conduct adoptions in other counties.

Our mission extends throughout the state, offering guinea pig care information and adoption services. Crazy Cavies is a nonprofit, no-kill rescue dedicated exclusively to guinea pigs, located in Lauderhill, FL. We provide a temporary sanctuary for abandoned, neglected, or homeless guinea pigs and focus on educating the public about their care. Additionally, we work to find quality forever homes for these animals and collaborate with other organizations to prevent unnecessary euthanasia of guinea pigs.
