Cavalier Rescue of Florida in Atlantic Beach, FL

Cavalier Rescue of Florida is a nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) and operated entirely by volunteers. Originally established as the Mid-Florida Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Rescue, we have been dedicated to rescuing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since 2000, successfully placing hundreds of these dogs in loving homes. Cavalier Rescue of Florida provides essential care for the dogs we rescue, including love, shelter, food, companionship, medical treatment, and spay/neuter services. We continue to care for these Cavaliers until we find them a suitable, permanent home in Florida through a thorough screening process. Our rescues come from various sources, including animal shelters, owners who can no longer care for their pets, veterinary offices, and puppy mill raids. We are committed to helping any Cavalier in Florida in need of a forever home.

Adopting from Cavalier Rescue of Florida

Adoption process

To initiate the adoption process, interested individuals should reach out to the adoptions placement team. A complete application must be submitted, including personal and veterinary references. Once the application is received, it will be reviewed, and applicants will be interviewed. Reference checks and home visits will be conducted, as well as meet-and-greet sessions with the potential pet. Please note that adoption fees vary depending on the individual dog.
