Adoption Process

The adoption process involves a thorough in-person screening. FFoD does not conduct adoption screenings over the phone. All adoptions must occur at our adoption center located at The Cat Clinic in Destin. Adoptions are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. During weekdays, adoptions are by appointment only. All of our cats are strictly indoor pets, and we do not allow declawing. The adoption fees are $85 for kittens and adults under five years old, and $50 for adults over five years old. Please note that adoption fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Feline Friends of Destin in Destin, FL

Feline Friends of Destin is a nonprofit organization recognized under section 501(c) that operates entirely with volunteers. Lacking a physical shelter, we primarily depend on foster homes to care for our cats until they are adopted. We partner with The Cat Clinic in Destin, where all our adoptions take place. Our mission focuses on controlling the feral cat population and reducing the killing and abandonment of healthy cats. We achieve this through our Trap, Neuter, Return, and Maintain (TNR&M) program, as well as through adoptions, education, and community assistance.
