About this shelter

We Care For Paws Foundation in Brooksville, FL

We Care For Paws is founded and operated by military veterans who are dedicated to caring for elderly, sick, and unwanted cats and dogs. Our mission is to provide support for these animals while educating the public about the unique needs of older pets. We believe that all animals have inherent value, not just the young and cute. Our focus is on helping the elderly, abandoned, and abused animals—those that are often overlooked.

We also offer an option for a sleepover, which can last for a night or a weekend. If everyone is in agreement after this visit, the final adoption will take place. The adoption fee is $150 for dogs and $100 for cats.
