Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a pre-application to evaluate potential families. Following a phone interview, we conduct vet checks and home visits. The interview continues during the meeting with the dog. We request a donation of $250 to $325 with each adoption. Every dog is microchipped, tested for heartworm and found to be negative, spayed or neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Service Areas

We serve the areas of Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.

Paws 4 You Rescue in Miami, FL

Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Miami, Florida, dedicated to rescuing animals in need. Our primary focus is to save animals from euthanasia at Miami-Dade Animal Services, where an average of 100 animals are euthanized each day. We rescue animals that are sick, injured, homeless, surrendered, or lost. Our goal is to provide these animals with a safe environment, professional medical care, and plenty of love. Each rescued animal receives spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and ID microchips. Some animals may require specialized surgical procedures for broken bones, while others need rehabilitation for various medical issues such as kennel cough, skin infections, cherry eye, or heartworm treatment. All animals benefit from the emotional and physical support of finding a loving forever home. Once we commit to an animal's care, we ensure they receive the highest quality treatment without compromise. Our dogs stay in veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, or foster homes until they are adopted. We actively participate in events throughout South Florida to find suitable homes for our animals. Our dedicated team consists of compassionate professionals from diverse backgrounds who are united in their mission to save as many animals as possible. We also emphasize the importance of education regarding spaying and neutering. Pet overpopulation is a significant issue in our community, and by sterilizing pets, individuals can help alleviate the burden on Miami-Dade Animal Services and contribute to the well-being of our community.
