The Cat Network, Inc in Miami, FL
The Cat Network, Inc is a cat rescue based in Miami, Florida, located in Miami-Dade County, about 7 miles northeast of Miami and roughly 30 minutes from 16 other animal shelters and rescues also serving the county. Founded in 1995, it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to humanely reducing cat overpopulation through education, low-cost spay/neuter services, adoption placement, and Trap Neuter Release advocacy. The organization doesn't operate a physical shelter; instead, its cats live in loving foster homes, and adopters work directly with foster parents through its Adoption Referral Program. Over the past 30 years, The Cat Network has helped spay or neuter 122,000 cats through its Meow Mobile and Spay/Neuter Certificate program, and has fostered and adopted out 24,000 cats.
