Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an application, which is then reviewed. We verify veterinary and two personal references, followed by a home visit. The Adoption Committee evaluates all gathered information and makes a decision regarding the adoption. If approved, the adopter will complete a contract stating that the dog will be kept as a pet indoors and that if they are unable to keep the dog, it must be returned to our rescue. Additionally, the adopter will pay an adoption donation, which varies depending on the breed, whether the dog is purebred or mixed, its age, and health status.

Service Areas

The organization serves the State of Florida, as well as Atlanta, Georgia, and cities in Georgia located south of Atlanta extending to the Florida state line.

Papillon Pals Rescue, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL

I have a deep affection for dogs, as they have provided me with immense support throughout my life during both my childhood and adulthood. My goal is to give back to them in the same way they have helped me. Our organization is small and operates privately, relying solely on modest donations and adoption fees for funding. We collaborate with local shelters in Atlanta, Orlando, Orange Park, Broward County, Jacksonville, and other cities to rescue dogs that are considered unadoptable. Additionally, we accept dogs that are surrendered by their owners.
