Adoption Process

To adopt an animal, you must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid form of identification. An adoption contract must be signed with the Bradford County Sheriff's Office. Please note that pets cannot be adopted as gifts. The average adoption fee for a canine is $40.00, while the average fee for a feline is $25.00. Adoption fees should be paid in cash. Approved Rescue Organizations are exempt from any "pull fee."
