Adoption Process

We conduct vet checks for applicants who have pets and landlord checks for those who rent. After an application is approved, we assist in finding the right cat or kitten for the adopter. We require a contract that stipulates our commitment to take back our cats, the expectation that adopters will keep their pets indoors, and a prohibition against declawing. Our adoption fees start at $65 for adult cats, but some cats may have partial sponsorships during the month, resulting in lower fees for certain adoptions.

We are a small, foster home-based rescue organization. Our volunteers refer to themselves as "The Village," reflecting our motto, "It Takes A Village." Together, we collaborate to accomplish our mission, which includes transporting animals, trapping, and engaging with the community to assist cats and kittens in need. In the past year, we have developed a growing trap-neuter-return program and have taken in many kittens from feral mothers. Additionally, we partner with other TNR programs to help place their animals as well. We also collaborate with other rescue organizations when necessary.
