Greater Ohio Boxer Rescue in Dayton, OH
Greater Ohio Boxer Rescue is a boxer rescue based in Dayton, Ohio, located in Montgomery County, roughly 3 miles southeast of the city and among 11 other animal shelters and rescues serving that county. The organization focuses exclusively on rescuing and rehoming boxers, relying on a network of foster homes to care for dogs until they're adopted, with GOBR covering medical bills during that time and giving foster families first choice to adopt. Volunteers support the rescue through application processing, public relations, fundraising, and website maintenance, and the group shares updates and stories, such as that of a blind boxer named Herman, through its Facebook and YouTube channels. Donations help fund the rescue's ongoing efforts to save boxers in need.
