Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, you must complete an adoption questionnaire. If your application is approved, you will be required to sign a contract and pay a $40 adoption fee. Additionally, if the animal is not spayed or neutered, you will need to provide a $50 deposit, which will be refunded upon submission of proof of spay or neuter. We also require that kittens be adopted in pairs or into a home that already has a young cat.

FosterBabyCats was established with the mission to provide exceptional care for cats and kittens in need of permanent homes. Frustrated by partnerships with shelters that prioritize survival statistics over the well-being of vulnerable animals, we sought to create a better alternative. Unlike traditional shelter models, we believe that every life deserves a chance. At FosterBabyCats, each cat and kitten receives personalized care and attention essential for their well-being. Our goal is to transform neglected or unwanted cats and kittens into healthy and thriving members of families by offering extraordinary care, continuous attention, and suitable placements that match their unique personalities. Traditional shelters often turn away kittens with low survival prospects—such as newborn orphans, those with congenital defects, or those showing signs of trauma—to enhance their public image. Although we cannot save every kitten, we strive to ensure that those we can help experience comfort, nourishment, and love in their final days. In addition to nurturing kittens and facilitating their adoption, we engage with the community to spay and neuter stray and feral cats, aiming to break the cycle of homeless kittens.
